UPDATE: We’ve added more than just restaurants
We don’t want to minimize the current situation. A lot of people are in a bad spot financially and medically and we all hope that it is over as soon as possible.
With that said, if that doesn’t apply to you, it isn’t often you can help the world by watching a movie and ordering delivery. But maybe you can’t do that. You’ve already got plenty of food or you don’t want people coming in your house. I get it. But you can still help local businesses.
Many places have merch (shirts, hats, etc) that you can order to help keep the lights on till they can open again. Gift card purchases work similarly. And several places are offering discounted gift cards. So you can literally make money for helping these places stay afloat for the time being.
