Knoll – The Latest in Luxury on South Congress

We certainly love helping people find a place to live and get around town.  But we also get that apartment locating is generally not considered a glamorous job.  But we do get some perks like being able to get sneak peeks of the complexes that are going up in town.  And, now you, loyal reader do as well.  Let’s check out Knoll.

First off, it’s located on South Congress (map here), which is already a good start.  You have all the conveniences of city life and the glitz and nightlife of SoCo, but also very very close to McKinney Falls State Park and Onion Creek. It’s the best of both worlds.

Let’s talk about the actual community features.  What I found interesting about the place is that it has everything you’d expect and also a little bit extra. Of course it has a gym, but the gym also has a spin room attached. Of course it has a pool and grills available, but it is less of a hotel pool and more of a resort destination. Of course, it has a work space, but it also has two private conference rooms you can use. Of course it has parking and you can rent a detached garage or carport, but it also has electric vehicle charging stations. Of course you can get your packages delivered, but it also has a locker concierge system so you can get it whenever you want without having to worry about other people grabbing at it. We already mentioned access to the outdoors and state parks, but it also has a fenced in dog park so you can let the dog roam free without a big hike.  It’s a very compelling set of features.

The individual units are, in a weird good way, the opposite.  Yes, they have premium upgrades you can get, but what is striking is how much is standard in every unit.  Carpet in the bedroom and plank flooring everywhere else. Washer and Dryer in every unit. Stainless steel appliances with a side by side fridge (why do those feel so much fancier?) in every unit. Backsplashes in the kitchen.  There are no bad units that I saw.

I expect Knoll won’t have any issues getting residents. If you want to be one of them you can go to the website now and set up a virtual walk through and hard hat tours start in August.  You can apply for move in now too which starts in Mid-September.

If you have any questions, let us know and we’ll get them answered.
