Local Business Spotlight – Austin Window Fashions

Local Business Spotlight – Austin Window Fashions

As part of our mission to helping people get in and around Austin, we like to highlight great local businesses whenever possible.

We spoke with Mary Pokorny about Austin Window Fashions. Mary Pokorny has been the Marketing Coordinator at Austin Window Fashions for almost 10 years now. Here’s what she had to say about the city and Austin Window Fashions.

EAA: Thanks for talking with us Mary. Can you tell us about how Austin Window Fashions got started?

Mary: Austin Window Fashions was started in 1981, and we’ve had the good fortune to grow along with Austin’s amazing growth. We pride ourselves on being locally owned and operated and we really appreciate those who shop local and support local businesses.

EAA: What makes you different than other businesses that offer window treatments

Mary: We owe our success to our policy of doing whatever it take to ensure total customer satisfaction. You’ll see if you read our online reviews that we put the upmost importance on customer service.

EAA: I’m not very familiar with the window world.  What does that mean exactly?

Mary: It starts with our beautiful showroom and knowledgeable Design Consultants. We think a visit to the showroom is the best place to see all the dozens of types of window coverings in person. You can see, touch and tryout our full size displays of all types of blinds, shades and plantation shutters. And you’ll meet our knowledgeable Design Consultants there to answer your questions and help you find the perfect window coverings for your needs.

EAA: How can people get in contact with you and the store?

Mary: Of course you can come to the showroom at 10321 Burnet Rd. You can visit our website www.austinwindowfashions.com or just give us a call at 512-836-3388.
